As a citizen of the Old Dominion, I enjoy the natural right of self-defenese should the need arise. I do not wish to give up that right because of stepping over a manmade line in the sand onto property that belongs to all us citizen taxpayers. I assure you: while armed, I am not a danger  to my law-abiding brothers and sisters, no matter which side of that line I am on. Please get rid of this silly rule.
