While I realize stopping greenhouse gases is not possible, emissions need to be drastically reduced immediately for there to be any hope of lessening the devastating effects of climate change.  Why do people in this country not trust unbiased, peer-reviewed science and scientists?  Ignoring or denying the problem will not make it go away.
