Please don't allow this. This means that pet owners will eventually not trust or know who is caring for their animal.. This means that licensed vet techs will eventually be made equivalent to someone without any credentials, and people will not want to pursue the field of veterinary medicine because all they'll hear is "yeah you can do this without a degree." We should be RAISING standards, not lowering them.... People who want to provide this type of care for animals should be licensed to do so. Just think about if nurses could all the sudden start prescribing drugs.... This plan WILL backfire if we let it progress.
