This is ridiculous, lazy, disrespectful, harmful, & cheap. Only fully trained and credentialed persons should be doing this work. You wouldn't allow a hospital volunteer to do the work of a registered nurse or licensed practicing nurse. This is no different. Pay vet techs a living wage and their numbers will increase. Don't put profit ahead of care.
