I have worked in the veterinary field for 8 years now and am not an LVT (yet)....In school currently. I work for VCA Southpaws in the surgery department and every morning I am the first and only person there. It would really help get the day going if assistances, such as my self, could place IVC. Also, when a patient pulls their IVC out and there isn't an LVT available for a while, these patients are not going to get their pain medications as they should.
