I do think this will devalue the need for LVTs. Yes rural areas are hurting for LVTs but if we pass this, there will be less desire for LVTs in general as many practices looking to cut corners will opt for more (cheaper) veterinary assistants. This will devalue the profession in general and I think we need to start holding ourselves to a higher standard of medicine with licensed professionals.
