In my 16+ years in this profession I have experienced the struggles LVTs have had to deal with. I worked hard for my license and learned more then I have on any job. I have seen many vets choose to hire uneducated assistants to act as techs to save money. This petion will only diminish the need and importance for vet techs, which will deplete animal care. Why must money always come before gold standard care? Would go want someone without education or a license to have your life in their hands?
