Lvt's are licensed for a reason! They study hard and long to get their job done correctly and safely for the sake of their patients. Allowing someone who is unlicensed to perform such an invasive procedure is pure stupidity! Allowing this puts our pets lives at risk and would open the door for many people to sue for negligence. If the vet profession wants to keep its respectability, it should reject this move immediately.
