This is a slap in the face to licensed technicians who have fought hard for their title. The only time this should be allowed by a non-licensed LVT, is if they are enrolled in a program, and actively learning to become a licensed technician. As a practice owner, I would not want to assume responsibility for allowing a lay person to improperly place a catheter, and cause harm to a pet.
