Please allow allow open and concealed carry in State Forests. I love hiking in our State foresta and as I am a CHP holder in the Commonwealth of Virginia it does not make any locical sense for me to have to do a gun check of my vehicle before I go for  one of my frequent hike to determine that I left all of my fire arms at home. I'm 61 years old and I no longer feel safe to walk alone anywhere in a secluded area. I frequent the firing range often and I am familiar with my fire am and is capabilities. I am not a hunter and do not believe in killing animal for sport. Virginia has always been minful of the 2nd admentment and State Forest shoul be no different than walkling down a street.
