CO2 emission reductions possible and profitable

As a citizen of the Commonwealth and as an environmental chemist, I support this petition.  It's logic is sound, and Virginia could lead the east coast (well, second to VT), in renewable/sustainable energy production and jobs if it is enacted.  The solar industry in VA has grown dramatically in the past five years alone, and we have quite large mountain and offshore wind generating potential.  Attracting and promoting these industries will bring jobs to VA in a growing economic sector.   Furthermore, state regulatory support for EVS could dramatically reduce CO2 emissions, especially along the heavily travelled Richmond-DC corridor, where the current models of EV have perfectly suited battery range.  Please move forwards with commonsense emissions reduction regulations in the Commonwealth.
