This is to say that I support the petition to Limit and Reduce Total Carbon Dioxide Pollution in the Commonwealth by 30% by 2030.from Electirc Generating Units.

I believe our overall goal should be higher than that. I believe the situation on this planet is now urgent and that we must take major, even radical steps to reduce our carbon dioxide emissions and that our goal should be much more than 30% reduction by 2030--but I realize that this petition deals specifically with Electric Generating Units.

Because our Federal Government appears poised to go backwards on environmental pollution and particularly on carbon emissions, I feel it becomes even more urgent that we take the strongest possible action on pollution on the State level.
