I strongly urge the Department of Environmental Quality to adopt this standard as a minimum standard.  It is clear that reduction of carbon emissions is essential in order to sustain a viable economy, public health, and a decent standard of living.  The DEQ has been too lax in the protection of the air we breathe, the water we drink and the food we eat.
