Reducing CO2 emissions

The Commonwealth must remove all obstacles to the development of green energy sources. Rather than drilling for fossil fuels off our coast, we should be installing wind turbines.  Virginia is more threatened than most states due to rising sea levels as well as subsidence.  For that reason, Virginia should be taking the lead in reducing the emissions that lead to climate changes which raise sea levels to the point where Norfolk is routinely flooded by minor storms.  The time to act was years ago, but it is not too late to take action to minimize the impact of climate change on Virginia's coastal communities and military facilities.  Virginia's future depends upon your action now!

Thank you for your consideration of this plea.
