global warming is bad for agriculture, tourism, and our children's safety

My county includes a lot of rural areas. Farmers there may suffer from reduced crop yields and harm to livestock caused by heat stress, if climate change continues to worsen. Tourism is an economically important industry here, but it may be less profitable when our beaches are underwater, the grape plants in our wineries are dying from drought, and the golf course turf is drying out and turning brown. Climate change could lead to more intense storms, endangering our infrastructure and even lives. Hotter summers will mean we need more air conditioning, which will drive our energy costs up. When air conditioning isn't sufficient, people will die during heatwaves; children and the elderly are the most vulnerable among us. We need to protect our children and our economy by taking serious measures to halt climate change now.
