As a long-time environmentalist (I was at the first Earth Day in San Francisco), I have fought for clean air and clean water for decades, and our planet has never been at a higher risk than it is now. We are on the tipping point as to whether we can reverse the climate changes wrought by human activity since the Industrial Revolution began spewing carbon emissions into our atmosphere and chemicals into our water. We have an opportunity here in Virginia to help fix that by approving this Rule and I urge you to do so. We must leave this planet in better condition for the generations to come.
