CMS /Medicare pays for acupuncture by physical therapists, but NOT licensed acupuncture professionals who have the higher degree, training, and expertise.it took me 4 years of training and Federal student loans to earn my MSOM. This is not best practice, evidence base practice and it short changes the public of the full benefits if acupuncture. It distepects a "Whole Medicine System" as Chinese Medicine is designated as by the World Health Organization. I do not want to stop you from Dry- needling. I want CMS to pay me to provide acupuncture Medicine.
