Dry Needling by my Physical Therapist was essential to my recovery

Please continue to allow physical therapists to provide dry needling to their patients, with the proper training and with a primary care physicians' approval.  I suffer from neck issues, often resulting in painful neck and shoulder spasms. I have found dry needling by my physical therapist to be an essential part of my recovering. After a session with dry needling, my range of motion is greatly increased and my pain is greatly reduced.  I have had both dry needling and acupuncture. Dry needling by a physical therapist serves a different purpose than acupuncture; the two treatments are not the same, so please allow physical therapists to practice dry needling to continue to provide options for those of us suffering from pain caused by muscle spasms.
