Self-protection is a God given right.  Our forefathers understood this. Nowhere is it more natural than in one of His beautiful creations.  God recognized evil is a part of His creation which was not meant to be.  But Adam and his rebellion has changed all that for us , so God clearly spoke in His written word that self-defense is a just action.  God give you the wisdom to preserve and serve Him.
