Needling acupuncture points is part of Traditional Chineese Medicine. It is a Masters program on top of a bachelors degree. It is not a weekend course. It's 3 years of intense study and clinical practice. You can do more harm than good. It is a complicated system where the points chosen have to correlate with the diagnosis. Please do not think that anyone can do this without proper education.
