Public unknowingly have a false sense of security- Random point selection- dangerous

Acupuncturists  go to school for about four years. To randomly stick needles in somebody using an acupuncture needle seems absurd.  In our training we follow doctor's for two years in observation, and then we are observed by the doctors for two years on our angles of insertion and on our depths of insertion. We are taught  to  Measure and  Perfectly  target  a point.

If say... a dry needling accident happens and a puncture to the lung is made-  pneumothorax, guess what??? NO ONE IS GOING TO SAY- that was not acupuncture, that was "Dry Needling"- it was not done by someone that holds a license!  the public have absolutely NO understanding of the difference!! They are trusting the laws would protect them from this difference! Physical therapists are in hospitals and recommended by Doctors in turn gives a false sense of security to the general public, I believe this makes it an injustice! Please help save our patient security and all we ask is that they go through the same training, I'm sure a lot of their classes they already have taken would transfer - so come on- just get educated!!!!!
