I forgot to mention a couple of key points: My Physical Therapist is very educated in performing dry needling. So much so that he actually teaches the science, anatomy, safety and techniques that PT's need to posses to perform dry needling. I have had acupuncture before and while it was great for stress relief, digestion and headaches, it did not take care of my myofascial issues. Only trained PT's understand how to treat trigger point problems.
