I fully support concealed and open handgun carry in state forests.  As a female of smaller than average build, I would be a targeted victim to a criminal.  So why am I not allowed to protect myself and my children?  Remember the adage, "When seconds count, the police (or rangers) are only minutes away."  Now I am not trying to disparage law enforcement officers, but only to point out the reality that they can't be at every crime scene when it happens.  It is my constitutional right to carry and my duty to protect myself and my family.  Please don't deny me that right.
