PT scope of practice is INCLUSIVE of dry needling

I am in support of Dry Needling for PT practice given the extensive training in anatomy and biomechanics all licensed physical therapists must undergo. The rigorous training program a Physical Therapist must complete, before a board examination, fully prepares the Physical Therapist for the scope of practice INCLUSIVE of dry needling.  A commonly quoted study recently gave creedance to this fact in that Physical Therapists were SECOND ONLY to orthopedic surgeons in regard to knowledge of human anatomy among healthcare professionals. In addition to the rigorous coursework, physical therapists complete at least 3 clinical affiliations, if not 4, there by placing an extreme amount of weight on both clinical knowledge and textual knowledge.
