Dry Needling is helpful for patients

Dry needling is another tool in our tool box to help relieve pain in patients. I have seen dry needling decrease muscle tightness and reduce muscle spasms in patients. The adverse effects are very minimal, and the proper continuing education course can provide the therapists with the appropriate skills to implement this technique safely. Dry needling should continue to be implemented as a form of treatment in physical therapy practice.
