Objection to dry needle by PT!

As an acupuncturist for 30 years of practice, I know it takes years of training to apply the needle technique for safety and effectiveness of treating a patient. It includes the knowledge of anatomy, diagnosis, the acupuncture and Asian medicine theories. The physical therapist try to steal some acupuncture method and rename it as "dry needle technique" with only 20 - 40 hrs training. This will cause public confusion, lower the quality of treatment, damaging patients benefit and safety. Therefore No dry needle for PTs!
