Viginia 2nd Amendment Right reads: That a well regulated militia, composed of the body of the people, trained to arms, is the proper, natural and safe defense of a free state, therefore, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed; that standing armies, in time of peace, shouldbe avoidedas dangerous to liberty; and that in all cases the military should be under strict subordination to, and governed by, the civil power.

     This should include state forest, walking trails or driving through looking at the scenery, by some chance you could have a four legged or two legged animal that wants to inflict harm upon you or your family.  In which case we the people should have the right to defend ourselves. I don't wish to harm anyone but I myself being properly trained with the use of guns want my right to protect myself.
