Please allow concealed  carry with a permit in the State Forests the same as elsewhere in the State. If anything goes wrong in there you have to be able to take care of yourself till you can either call in the calvary or get yourself out. It could be a long time before help arrives, if ever. How are the police or anyone else even going to know you're in trouble? There are no neighbors to call help for you if you're too badly hurt to do it yourself, and even if you can state forests are not 15-minute response time areas for emergency services like the police. It only takes seconds for something to go wrong. You need to be able to take care of yourself in there, the same as anywhere else. Noit all bad guys stay on concrete. Just ask the forest rangers.  Please allow carry in State Forests. Thank you.
