Concealed handgun permit holders are some of the most law-abiding citizens in the Commonwealth. They are not a threat to public safety, and it is both foolish and insulting for Governor McAuliffe to treat them as such. Banning legally carried guns from state buildings will serve only to empower criminals by disarming their would-be victims.
