Thanks to our reasonable gun laws norther Virginia has remained safe while draconian policies have left southern Maryland and Washington DC become national shames. There is zero to be gained from restricting law abiding citizens from protecting themselves and others, especially when doing so clearly leads to more violent crime as our neighbors to the north have shown.
