Considering events such as those that have occured on the Appalachian Trail, and other similar events in state forests, there are obviously valid reasons for concealed carry to be permitted on state park land.  Concealed Cary permit holders are NOT the Bad Guys.  As a group, they have proven to be the most law abiding and least volitile of citizens.
