Opposition to state agency gun ban

I oppose the Governor's unnecessary and unjustified ban on carrying firearms in state agency offices.  There is simply no history of violence in state agency premises in the Commonwealth to justify this ban.  The ban was not imposed to solve any existing problem or any problem that is reasonably ancitipated and in fact it makes these areas less safe, not more safe.  The sole reason for imposing this ban was to punish law abiding gun owners for being just that, and to embellish the Governor's credentials among the anti Second Amendment element of the political left.
