I'm FOR enacting this legislation to ALLOW handgun carry in VA Forests, whether by resident CHP holders, or open-carry by resident non-CHP holders. ALL law-abiding VA citizens are able to carry in the rest of the Commonwealth should be allowed to exercise their rights in VA Forests, with NO FURTHER RESTRICTIONS!!. It makes no sense to disarm people in VA forests, but allow it elsewhere. Predatory and dangerous individuals exist in all parts of the Commonwealth, and will always gravitate to areas where their victims are isolated, unsuspecting, and vulnerable.
