gun ban in executive buildings

Banning citizens from carrying firearms in government buildings is wrong. It violates the constitution. It violates the right of personal self-defense. There are rare circumstances where a ban is appropriate, such as courthouses and airport boarding areas. General offices within the executive branch of the state government have no similar special need.
