In Opposition to Gun Bans in Public Buildings

This is a solution in search of a problem; there is no precedence for such a ban, and furthermore, the Governor has no authority to institute such a ban without the support of the General Assembly. Finally, the vast majority of mass shootings take place in areas which are designated "gun free zones". By banning one of the most law-abiding group of people from carrying legally, this ban only serves to create more victims; a gun ban won't stop someone who wants to do others harm. Only a good person with a gun can accomplish that.

Therefore, I strongly oppose this regulation, and request that you all do the same.
