Separate from the law enforcement officers on duty in these buildings, I am opposed on principle to anyone else carrying a gun.  The work of elected/appointed officials and staff in Executive office buildings entails no more risk, but a great deal more responsibility, than every other resident of the Commonwealth.  The special work of these Executive-level employees is to create an healthy, safe environment by their actions, both personal and professional. The leaders I trust do not carry guns to work.
