Banning guns in Gov't buildings

I am in agreement with the Governor on this item.  I also believe that we need to have strict enforcement of background checks; ban automatic weapons & reduce the size of gun magazines.  A normal, ordinary citizen doesn't need these type of weapons.  They should be for law enforcement & military only.  I don't believe having these laws violate the 2nd amendment.  The right to bare arms was written centuries ago when it was mainly used for hunting & protecting their property before law enforcement was established.  The NRA needs to stick to it's name of National Rifle Association & get out of the automatic weapons arena.  It keeps stirring up the hotheads that believe they should be able to have these types of weapons.  Get the guns out of the hands of criminals and emotionally disturbed people.

Thank you,

Carol A. Peluso
