Guns

Do not allow VA to be an open-carry state. I recently was in a small local restaurant where a young ,man was packing. When I brought it to the staff's attention and my fear, the response was he must afraid. Of whom and what? I am a senior citizen; the white male with a gun was in his 20s. There was no empathy or concern for my fear of an armed white male (I am also white) who apparantely is so unstable that he needed to have a gun while eating in a small local restruant in a conservative area of VA. Its customers are local and often include health care workers eating breakfast after a nightshift at the hospital. Where is the concern for our safety when encountering someone with a gun? This is outrageous. I no longer eat at that restaurant.
