As one who believes the 2nd Amendment is a God given right, I totally support the right to carry open or concealed, at my discretion, within the state parks. Crime does not stop just because a sign is posted or a law is written. Criminals and Terrorists can AND DO  strike where they choose, regardless of the law. It's not the LAW ABIDING citizenry that should be feared. On Sept.10th, 2001, if someone said that there was a very good possibility that terrorists would fly planes into the World Trade Center buildings the next day most people would have said that was ridiculous. Likewise, there are those who would and do say that state parks are safe and that there have been no major crimes committed there. In this day and age anything is possible. Please give me the right to defend myself, if and when it does happen.
