Givent the current events of Flint water supply, I strongly oppose removing or reducing standards for waterworks operators.  Tax dollars are going to support this program in order to have the highest trained and licensed person on premesis at all times.  Please remove the definition of direct supervision and replace it with one that requires the licensed operator to be present at all times. 

Virginia is not paying for absentee supervisors from other states or jurisdictions while a trainee is working alone on a job site.
