We have a right to carry anywhere we want to. It doesn't matter whether you NEED to do it or not. You don't NEED a Mercedes Benz, you can do just as well with a Ford Focus. Let's suppose everyone in America over the age of 18 were REQUIRED to be trained in the use of and carry a side arm, concealed or not concealed it doesn't matter. Now, do you t hink that would increase crime or decrease crime?

It is a simple equation. Are there more good people in America than bad people? I know the answer to this, there are more good people, and if every one of them were trained and armed, there would be VERY little crime.

Those of you who are scared, have drank the koolaid of the mainstream media, and believe that the average person is an idiot, and wouldn't know what to do with a gun. And you are mostly right. What makes a policeman different from an ordinary citizen? Well, he's trained in the use of firearms you say. Although I've seen some policeman do some dumb ass things, like shoot themselves in the foot and worse. IF you are one of the good guys, what is to prevent you from getting the same or better training the 'police officer' has?  You don't have to be a police officer to be equal or superior to his firearms training. Unless you just want to be a sheep and depend on someone else to protect you, who cannot POSSIBLY protect you, you will learn and become armed. The founding fathers were not stupid. Although the Second Amendment was designed to keep what is happening right now from happening, it also provided an individual right to defend one's self as life is one of the inalienable rights Jefferson spoke about in the Declaration of Independence.

To think that guns are evil is idiocy. The gun does nothing. The person is either evil or good. Guns are a tool like a pipe wrench, they can be used for evil or good.  But there are more good people than there are evil people, but evidently the evil people have the stupid and idiotic people outnumbered.
