I frequently hike and run in Virginia's State Forests.  As the holder of a Virgina permit to carry a concealed handgun, I should not be denied the right to lawfully carry a handgun in the forests. The regulation needs to be made irrespective of hunting, as many (myself) included do not engage in hunting but are at times in the State Forest during hunting seasons.
