I am not in favor of the increase in CE hours, because not every clinic offers an alotted allowance for CE conferences. Also, some are over the course of a week, which takes time away from work. I know that as a memeber of the VALVT there are some free CE conferences/classes, but the big ones you will have to pay for out of our own pockets, with are limited income, and I don't think it would be fair to ask that of anyone.
