It has been shown numerous times that allowing concealed carry and open carry causes dramatic drops in all types of crimes, as well as making it easier for lawful citizens to enjoy many types of activities without worrying about accidentally violating the law.

It is also well known that criminals, by definition, do not follow the law. Hence having a law that cannot be enforced benifits the criminal, and penalizes the law abiding citizen.

I strongly support making it legal for honest citizens to decide for themselves if they wish to be armed in state parks, or federal lands, or anywhere else for that matter.

I will be watching this issue closely and hope to see it passed soon.
