Folks, we have listened to the shrill chorus of those who place emotion over reason for far, far too long.  We should have a realistic & equal ability to exercise our right to self-defence in State forests, just as we do elsewhere.  The ban on weapons in State forests is a relic of an age that has passed, if indeed it ever existed.   There is no inherent safety in those forests.  Please acknowledge the intelligent and responsible nature of the great majority of Virginans and approve this petition.
