I submitted to a background check and have been properly trained.  Why am I not allowed to defend myself?  I have visited parks and forests before and left because of some individuals who I thought had ill intentions.  Criminals with ill intentions will disregard the law, but those of us who wish to defend ourselves are left defensless at the current circumstances.  The appearance of a handgun shouldn't strike fear into a person, Va doesn't just give out CCW permits to everyone.
