Carrying handguns by law abiding citizens has never been a problem. Therefore denying the right to carry a weapon to such citizen in a state forest accoplishes nothing except the establishment of a free kill zone for people intent on doing others harm. The person who is going to harm another will not obey a no carry law anymore than he/she will obey the other laws they commonly break. The only persons affected by a no carry law are those who would carry for defensive purposes. Those are the law abiding citizens.
