I have only seen one comment in opposition to being allowed to carry in a national forest.  The person made the point that the only danger there was certain animals or people with guns.  Criminals don't care where they are when they attack people, this includes national forest.  Think back a few years to the string of attacks on the Appliachian trail.  I like a lot of other people believe in the right to protect myself and my family in my home, in public , and even in the national forest.  Laws that prohibit lawful carry of firearms only protect criminals.   By the way criminals don't care if something is against the law, there criminals.  I strongly support open and conceled carry in national forest.
