Strongly urge carry approval!  Like many other law abiding citizens of the Commonwealth, I obtained firearms training in addition to 20 years active military service, passed a background check and obtained a Virginia CHL.  I am not a gun slinger, a gang banger nor a wannabe Deputy. I merely want protection under the law for lawful carry. I cannot count on a Deputy, a Police Officer, or a Ranger to be around should trouble arise from those less law abiding, thus I must be capable of legally protecting myself.  Strongly urge carry approval!
