I have hiked and camped in mant Va state parks. Over the years I have seen several strange acting characters, even report them to park officals. I am worried about a time when due to the local there will be nobody to report to or call for help. As a concealed carry permit holder I would like the ability to step across a park boundry line in Va. with my weapon and not feel as if I am the criminal. I am afterall the one who submitted to a back ground check and have had training in handling firearms.

Do the right thing, enact the petition!
